Which platforms can you move between?
Common moves include WooCommerce to Shopify, Magento to Shopify or WooCommerce, and Shopify to WooCommerce. We also move websites from older platforms and custom builds onto WordPress.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the move is planned properly. We map every old URL to its new page, set up 301 redirects, carry over page titles and descriptions, and check Google Search Console after launch so any problems are caught early.
What data can be moved?
Products, variants, images, categories, customers, order history, reviews, pages and blog posts can usually be moved. Most platforms do not allow passwords to be transferred for security reasons, so customers are invited to set a new one.
Will my shop go offline during the move?
No. We build and test the new site separately and only switch over once you have approved it, so your current shop keeps taking orders right up to launch day.
Should I move from WooCommerce to Shopify?
It depends on your products, your team and your plans. Shopify looks after hosting and updates for you, while WooCommerce gives you more control and flexibility. We give honest advice and only recommend a move when it makes sense.
