Word Lens Translation App
Ever find yourself struggling abroad with directions? Menus? Language barriers can make what should be one of your most relaxing periods of the year into a pretty stressful ordeal. Luckily, Quest Visual (now working with Google) have produced an app which will completely change your holiday experience.
Word Lens is a Translation app with a difference. Using your mobile phone’s camera Word Lens is capable of translating well lit, vibrant, physical objects in real time. Though there isn’t the largest library of languages:
+ English ⇆ Russian
+ English ⇆ Spanish
+ English ⇆ French
+ English ⇆ Italian
+ English ⇆ German
+ English ⇆ Portuguese
Word Lens will make things significantly easier to communicate when there aren’t any helping hands nearby.
Plus, not only is it great for travel – but it’s also a great app to show off with your friends!
